Monitoring SAFETY

Speaking truth can be unnerving.

So we monitor emotions and respect.

As best we can.

Knowing it means something a bit different to each of us.

Question mark.

...Exploring...What We Mean by "Respect"...

Is This What You Mean?

(Let's start with an obvious one.)

"I respect what you have to say."

(How about this one?)

"I'm interested in what you have to say."

(Or this one?)

"I support your voice."

How About This?

"I value your truth."
"I accept your truth."
"I can handle your truth."

Or This?

"You respect what I have to say."

"You are interested in what I have to say."

"You support my voice."

"You value my truth."

“You accept my truth.”

“You can handle my truth.”

"I amplify your voice." "You amplify my voice."

"We raise each other up."

Is this what we mean?
